Besides the courses for adults, the School of Languages has also been organizing regular courses for children, from pre-school to advanced levels, almost from the time of its foundation. Currently, we organize courses for young children and teenagers at many levels — in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian and Swedish.

In English there are also the YLE (Young Learners English — Flyers, Movers, Starters) tests and exams for children as first steps towards receiving the internationally recognized Cambridge University certificates.

Seventeen years ago the School started English courses on Mount Kopaonik for young learners and hired language instructors from Great Britain, who, along with our teachers of English, created simulated everyday situations, so the children had the impression they were attending language classes in Great Britain.

The syllabus has been adapted to the age of the children and their interests. There are ten levels, from preschool to advanced. The levels from Preschool 1 to Intermediate 1 each include 64 45-minute classes, unlike Intermediate 2, Intermediate 3, Higher and Advanced, which include 92 45-minute classes. The times and frequency of the classes have been adjusted to children’s obligations at school.
